Today I walked more than 20,000 steps door-knocking and talking with constituents in Concord — and every conversation reminded me why grassroots campaigning matters. People are hungry for leaders who will actually listen. We talked about concerns ranging from the rising cost of healthcare, term limits, election integrity, honesty and transparency from candidates, the growing partisan divide, political violence, public safety, and the frustration many people feel toward politics in general. But underneath all of these issues was a common theme: people want integrity, accountability, and a government that remembers it works for the people. One of the most encouraging parts of the day was realizing that even when neighbors disagree politically, most still want the same basic things — safe communities, affordable living, opportunity for their children, and a country that can move forward without hatred and division. Thank you to everyone who took the time to open their doors, share their thoughts, and speak honestly about the challenges facing our communities. I truly appreciate every conversation. This campaign is about listening first. Onward to the next neighborhood.
